Listseven ten songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven ten songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to
1. Immune - The Duke
What can I say? This is still one of my favourite Duke songs and one of my favourite songs of all time, the lyrics are just wonderful, the music beautiful, and the Duke is God.
2. Heart & Soul - The Monkees
This was a chance find actually. I've always been a Monkees fan, and I saw this song 'heart & soul' and the only song called that is that one that's in 'Big' and I was like OMG!MONKEES, but it wasn't that song at all, but it is a very very good song!
3. This Is Halloween - Danny Elfman
XD The Nightmare Before Chrismas -Yet another fandom I'm a million years late getting in on! In fact - I used to be like 'meh what's the big deal?' and the characters used to creep me out, but Kingdom Hearts made me a little more interested in it, so I watched it and now I'm hooked!
4. Phantom 309 - Red Sovine
I'm a big fan of truck driving songs that tell a story, and this one is very sweet, it really touched me the first time I heard it (although the version I first heard wasn't by Red Sovine and I like it better >.> ) the only problem I have with this song is - if Big Joe hadn't been going so fast, he probably wouldn't have had to swirve.
5. Shine - Take That
This song is so uplifting and catchy, and Mark Owen has such a prettiful voice!
6. It's All Right With Me - The Emperors of Swing
Another chance find, it was actually used as the end theme to an online point and click adventure game - The Goat in the Grey Fedora - sequel to A Case of the Crabs - And I just totally fell in love with it!
7. You're the Best - Joe Esposito
"You're the best arou~nd, nothing's gonna ever keep you down" Karate Kid fangirl! This is the song from the first movie that plays pretty much throughout the early stages of the tournament. It's just one of those songs that gets stuck in your head - and you know Ralph Macchio was pretty good looking >.> I had weird taste. "Fight til you drop, never stop, can't give up, til you reach the top"
8. On the Inside - Lynne Hamilton
The theme song to Prisoner Cell Block H. I have both the short version (as used on the tv show) and the long version (as released as a single?).
9. Calling - Himuro Kyousuke
Ending theme from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, I really like this, it's so pretty.
10. Good Timin' - Jimmy Jones
^_^ I love 'old' music, I think it has a quality that a lot of recent music lacks. This song is fun and feel good, and we all need a little feelgood music from time to time.
