First and foremost, the good news. We picked up Lady on Saturday. She pooped in the car like two minutes after we started the journey home, so we had to stop and clean that up, then again when we were almost home, so as soon as she had examined the front lawn, and her bed area, the next step was to plonk her in the sink and wash her feet and tummy.
She's absolutely beautiful. I'll upload the pictures once I have a chance to get them off of the camera. She's settling in really well. She was very clingy when we first got her home, the only place she would settle was on your chest and neck, but she's quite happy to lay near you and sleep now. The only time she gets upset is bedtime because until she's housetrained she has to sleep in the kitchen and the breeder had had her sleeping in her bedroom by the fire.
The cats are probably moving into their cattery today. They went in it yesterday for an hour or so and meowed a lot, but I'm sure once they get in with their own beds and their own litter trays and get used to it, they'll be fine.
Watched the first episode of Single Father last night. It was really good. David Tennant is just an amazing actor. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I finished watching the Doctor Who Series 4 boxset on Friday, and once again Journey's End had me sobbing. Donna's fate is just so heartbreakingly sad. Every time I watch it I cry.
The bad news. My desktop computer has died. I think it's the hard drive, but until Dad looks at it for me, I'm not really sure. I have the laptop out to tide me over, but it's just so slow. So, still about just slower than usual!
