Take a screencapture of your desktop and post it. Then explain what all of the folders/icons are and why they're there.

I don't tend to keep too much on my desktop.

My Computer - It's just one of those things that's there and seems strange if you don't leave it there.
Recycle Bin - That place where all your junk and deleted files go! Again, it just seems strange not to have it there.
Norton Internet Security
Spyware Doctor - Something Dad installed (I assume) to get rid of pesky spyware, since technically this laptop I use most days is actually his laptop (oops).
Internet - IE... Yes, I'm still an IE girl. My Dad tends to use FireFox so I'm actually surprised it's not installed on here.
Hotel Giant - A game I got cheap from my catelogue company. As the name suggests, you run a hotel - kinda like the Sims god-type-game, but pretty hard to get the hang of. I'm not very good at it!
The Settlers IV - I really wanted the Settlers II because I used to love it when I was younger. But Woolworths had Settlers IV in the bargin bin, so I bought it. I'm not as good at it as I am at Settlers II though.
Sonic Mega Collection - Another bargin bin purchase from Woolworths. I'm not too good at using the keyboard as controls though. But it's fun nonetheless.
ScummVM - ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. It means I can play those old LucasArts classics like Monkey Island, Sam & Max, Day of the Tentacle, as well as others such as Simon the Sorcerer and Beneath a Steel Sky.
Y!IM - I have this, but don't use it too often. A bit like MSN, I don't use it often either.
AIM - My most used IM program. I use it most days!
Icons and Stuff - Just a shortcut to my folder full of icons and banners and such I make in PSP7.
PSP7 - The graphics package I use for pretty much all my icons.
EWRevenge - Extreme Warfare is a series of professional wrestling management text simulators created by British programmer Adam Ryland. EWR is one of the more popular games in the series, and (I think) the last to be released for free.
