Sep. 13th, 2010 10:34 pmSo, as most of you already know we lost Jack in March due to a combination of his epilepsy and a brain tumour. It was really hard to cope with and I suffered with a lot of depression as I tried to get over it. We had always planned to get a new puppy eventually. We have been waiting for some money to come through from my Uncle's will.
Well, it's finally arrived and cashed, and so on Sunday we went to visit some puppies and we now own one. Well... we've paid for one. We don't actually have her here yet because she's only four weeks old. We're hopefully going to collect her on October 9th or 10th, but we'll probably be going to visit her before that to take a blanket for her to sleep on and get her mum's scent on so she settles better when we bring her home.
She's a gorgeous ball of fluff. A black & sable, long haired German Shepherd.
No pictures yet, and she has no name yet. But I'm really excited.
It was really strange though because there was a wall of photos of previous pups and dogs they've bred and one was a spitting image of Jack apart from it had a black nose instead of a pink one, and it was just there in a frame away from the other pictures looking down on the sofa we were sat on.
But yay! Puppy!
