Jul. 16th, 2010 06:47 pmWent to the doctor's on Tuesday to discuss my ECG results as well as the other ongoing things. Turns out my ECG was fine, so despite high blood pressure my heart is doing just fine - always good to know. We discussed my ultrasounds and he said that even though they were inconclusive I have enough of the other symptoms for him to say with fair certainty that I do have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Unfortunately there is little I can do for it. I can't even take extra female hormones to help with the hair growth because of weight - it just causes female hormones to turn to male, and thus the more female hormones I have, the more male ones I'll get.
He has, however, got the ball rolling for my to have gastic banding surgery. He says it will be a long process with a LOT of tests before I get the operation done. But at least it's in the pipeline. I now have to wait for one of the nurses to contact me about the tests.
I've also started using my vibroplate again. I don't even know why I stopped, because it's fun and it works to a degree.
Oh, yeah. I am now single. I got dumped via facebook. So, yeah. Single and hating it. And now I have no idea what's going on at all.
In other news, I'm really struggling to make activity with my pups over at
timeandtides this month. I'm just empty for ideas which really sucks because I really don't want to drop any of them. Blank and Denzel should be easy to get CR because they're just so outgoing and chatty. Fran is a lot harder, especially since she has lost almost all the people she had CR with. Not that anyone particularly like the way I play her. I adore my bunnylady though.
On the flipside, my Gene Hunt muse is loud, awake and active. I'm loving my time at
genes_world, the few players we have are so friendly and so much fun. Meeting Maia, Monkie, Summer and Sarah has been wonderful, and of course having familiar faces like Mari and Jeff and T is always good too.
Speaking of Mari ♥ thank you so much for everything, love.
