(no subject)

First of all... I haven't forgotten about those fics from the meme, I'm working through them at a snail's pace. It's kinda hectic round here right now! But they will all get written eventually!

My Dad has had the bright idea of revamping our entire upstairs. It's hard to put into words just how big of a job this is. For starters, Dad and I are hoarders from Hell, so there is stuff EVERYWHERE. Also, Dad made beds a few years ago for his and Mum's room, and the box room, but since Mum is getting worse, she's finding it hard to get into their bed (they're pretty high); so Dad's gonna take it apart, move it and lower it, meaning we need to put half the boxes somewhere else. They've also decided to turn their giant wardrobe that Dad built into storage space and put a smaller wardrobe on the wall where the bed is currently.

We're also going to move the cats from the big room into the box room so I have more living space and so there is room for Dawn, James and Dylan when they visit. We need to go to Biggleswade some time and pick up my new bed. We're also painting it a very pale hint of pink and recarpeting it, since the cats have pretty much destroyed it!

We've pretty much got the bathroom done. It's been painted bubblegum pink and Dad's ordered a black roller blind and black bath mats. It's very vivid and blinding LOL.

So yeah, by Christmas everything should be complete and look good and I should have a bookshelf YAY! Currently sleeping on a mattress in the front room though >.< not fun.

I need to get some more crafting done! Time is just running away >.< I need to complete 25 minis and have them sent by the end of November ready for the Advent Swap.
