Last nigth wasn't a good night for me. I went to bed and I couldn't stop shivering - you know that shiver you get when you're sick and nothing can warm you up? I was so snuggled up but I just couldn't get warm. Eventually I drifted to sleep, but I woke up about 3:30am and I felt like I was on fire. I don't think I'd ever been so hot in my life. I stripped back everything and opened the window, but I just couldn't get cool. After about an hour and a half of tossing and turning I gave up and moved downstairs onto the sofa under the fan.
My mum called the doctor today. They didn't have any appointments, but mum explained that I was sick and thought I needed antibiotics, so the doctor told her to send me in and she'd fit me in. The bus didn't show up!! I stood waiting for 35mins feeling faint and feverish and it didn't turn up, so mum had to phone my auntie who came and picked me up.
I have a chest infection, sniffly nose, headache, limb ache and all of that, my throat is so sore from coughing. But the doctor said she thinks we caught it early enough for a five day course of antibiotics to work! I hope so, because I'm back to work properly tomorrow. Went in today for 3 hours or so to get finished off.
Getting my hair cut tomorrow - not really sure what I'm having done yet - I don't think I'll bother having my spikes put in because when I'm at work I never bother to style them properly anyway.

...I'm a little curious as to what your hair looks like right now. You said spikes, right?

My hair was short and choppy and could be spiked easily with gel and it looked really good - but I could never be bothered to style them when I'm working and they grow out so fast, so I got it cut real short.
